Check the current terms and redeem rewards when appropriate.<\/p>\n<h3>Understand redemption rates<\/h3>\n<p>A reward may have different values depending on whether it is redeemed for cash, travel, merchandise, or another option.<\/p>\n<h3>Watch for minimums<\/h3>\n<p>Some programs require a minimum balance before redemption. Knowing the threshold helps you avoid surprises.<\/p>\n<h3>Don&#8217;t carry debt for rewards<\/h3>\n<p>This is the most important rule.
